CTRM Business Analyst - Commodity Trading

Join a global commodities trading organisation and play a pivotal role in the ongoing implementation of their CTRM software. With a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, they are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join the team in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of their systems, processes, and overall business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work as a Business Analyst to translate business requirements into detailed functional design documents.

* Address production queries and issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide effective solutions.

* Foster collaboration with front and middle office teams, explaining the reporting suite, defining process improvements, and reconciling risk metrics.

* Contribute to the ongoing implementation of their CTRM system, ensuring successful project delivery.

* Manage project status, drive full implementation, and actively participate in further iterations and development phases.

* Collaborate with software development teams to facilitate seamless integration.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Business Analyst/Project Manager.

* Previous experience with the implementation of a CTRM such as Openlink, Aspect, TriplePoint or similar, either within a consultancy or at a commodity trading firm.

* Strong front-end experience with a CTRM system throughout the trade lifecycle including knowledge of some or all of the following: oil pricing, physical operations, hedging solutions, futures, swaps, storage.....

* Sound market risk management experience.

* Track record of effective collaboration with software development teams (a Computer Science, IT/technical degree or experience as a Software Developer would be ideal but not essential)

Location: Central London (Hybrid working, 2-3 days a week in the office)

Salary: Depending on experience
