Our client is currently looking to recruit for a Customer Communications Executive to join their team based on the outskirts of Swindon.
The primary objective is to protect the holiday experiences of their valued customers by amending their existing holiday as a result of adjustments made by companies’ supplier. This role involves nurturing strong relationships with their customers while collaborating closely with various departments across the organization and external suppliers. In this role, your dedication to their customers' satisfaction is paramount.
Responsibilities
- To engage with customers prior to travel to amend packages for as a result of adjustments made by our suppliers to flights, cabins, hotels or tours.
- To communicate with suppliers to request and confirm availability for alternative elements
- To understand supplier costings
- Understand customer’s needs and expectations to deliver excellent customer support throughout
- Produce accurate admin work to complete any action taken
- Be proactive in solving the customers issues, maintaining high standards of service at all times
- Excellent understanding of packages to enable effective recommendations of holiday changes
Qualifications
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic on delivering excellent customer service
- Must be able to work flexible shift patterns including potential night-shifts (as required)
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Must be confident working alone and as part of a team
- Must demonstrate a significant level of self-motivation and initiative
- An ability to work to deadlines with good attention to detail
- Able to remain calm under pressure and problem solve accordingly
- Must be reliable with a flexible approach
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written - essential
- Willingness to work extended hours on occasions
- Have vast knowledge in terms of products and cruising
- Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
