My client, a global leader in the Aviation Electronics sector, is currently seeking a Customer Logistics Executive to join their growing Procurement & Supply Chain team. This permanent position is crucial to ensuring smooth customer order management and transportation coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Order Management: Creating and managing sales orders, processing delivery notes, and completing order reviews.
  • Shipment & Invoicing: Raising proformas for direct shipments, handling invoicing tasks, and providing necessary documentation for direct shipments.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Updating open order books, delivery note trackers, and managing customer backlogs.
  • Transport Coordination: Booking transport in customer portals and arranging premium freight as needed.
  • Warehouse Liaison: Collaborating with warehouses in Rotterdam, Morocco, and the UK to ensure smooth operations.
  • Shipping Documentation: Creating ASNs and preparing shipping documentation as required.
  • Customer Support: Providing comprehensive customer support via email, phone, and online meetings, and coordinating customer requirements through weekly meetings.
  • Issue Resolution: Assisting the Quality Control (QC) team with resolving customer complaints and logistic quality issues.
  • Process Involvement: Raising requests for CDRs, attending New Product Introduction (NPI) handover meetings, and maintaining DN trackers and open order books.
  • Master Data Management: Ensuring proper master data maintenance and continuous process updates.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a logistics controller or similar role within the procurement supply chain sector.
  • Strong proficiency in order management and transport coordination.
  • Exceptional customer support skills, including the ability to resolve issues and complaints effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Competence in managing data, tracking systems, and maintaining records accurately.
