Salary - £22,176 to £25,754

Right now, we’re looking for Customer Service Advisors, Emergency Dispatch Agents and Complaints Handlers to join our team based at Kingswinford, taking both inbound and outbound calls. This varied role will have you dealing with a variety of queries such as booking smart meter appointments for customers, issuing key and cards to off-supply meters and supporting customers through the process of acquiring new energy solutions.

As a front-line advisor, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and delighting our customers, actively promoting the benefits of smart meters, giving useful energy advice and offering further energy solutions.

What we need from you

* Ideally you will already have some previous experience working in a customer service and/or contact centre role.

* You will have the ability to be empathetic and build rapport with our customers, with an outgoing, self-motivated and friendly personality.

* Naturally you will have great communication skills and will be comfortable handling a large amount of inbound and outbound calls each day.

* You will also have the ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional manner.

* You will be capable of processing and reacting to change in a proactive way in-line with changing regulations.

* Ability to exercise initiative and use judgement to make decisions.

* The ability to demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced changing environment and work well under pressure.

Here’s what you need to know

* The salary for this role is £22,176 to £25,754.

* This role is based at our Kingswinford site – 241 High Street, Kingswinford, West Midlands, DY6 8BN.

* We offer a mixture of home working and office working following on-site training.

* The team currently work Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm (37 hours a week), but contracted hours will be 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 8am-6pm Saturday. Part-time and flexitime contracts are also available.

* This is a fixed term contract role for 12 months.
