Customer Service Advisor - Swindon (Office-Based)
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 9:00am - 5:15pm
Pay Rate: �12.21 per hour
We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a proactive and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join a growing team based in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, thrives on problem-solving, and values delivering excellent service.
About the Role:
You'll be the first point of contact for both new and existing customers, ensuring all enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. You'll also support wider business functions and occasionally step in to assist with team leadership duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally handle incoming calls during busy periods
- Make outbound calls to resolve customer queries
- Respond to internal and external enquiries via email and phone
- Process UK and Export orders via phone, email, and electronic systems
- Manage and update customer accounts in internal and WMS systems
- Monitor and manage the DPD dashboard daily
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, Smartsheet, and reports via Power BI
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Previous experience in customer service or a phone-based role
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Organised, methodical, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, Power BI, and Smartsheet
- Fluency in French and/or German
