Swift Placements are working with a family-run company based in Keighley, dedicated to providing high-quality dairy products to the local community. With a strong focus on excellent customer service and sustainable practices, they pride themselves on being a trusted supplier for households and businesses alike. Our client is looking for a Full Time Customer Service Operator to join their team.



Full Time position



Location: Keighley



Based on 40 hours per week over a 2-day 4/5 day working pattern



Please note: You will be expected to work every other Saturday



Working hours: 7:00am- 3:30pm



Starting rate: �12.50 per hour rising to �13.50 after completing probation



�500 bonus once probationary period is completed





Key Responsibilities:



Customer Interaction:




  • Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media platforms.

  • Assist customers with product selection, order placement, and delivery scheduling.



Order Management:




  • Process customer orders accurately using internal systems.

  • Liaise with the delivery team to ensure timely and efficient service.

  • Inputting customer orders onto the system.

  • Date processing and elements of inhouse auditing.



Issue Resolution:




  • Address and resolve customer complaints or delivery issues promptly and professionally.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department when necessary.



Administrative Tasks:




  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions.

  • Prepare daily and weekly reports as required by management.





Essential Requirements:




  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call centre role.
