CUSTOMER SERVICES ASSISTANT - SALES LEDGER BASED - DARLINGTON

A growing and exciting group based in Darlington is looking for a Customer Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Group Financial Director the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administration and finance related duties.

Key responsibilities

Sales ledger management

Direct Debit control

Processing sales invoices

Following and using the Sage accounts system and bespoke contracts system

Management and resolution of queries

Bank reconciliations

Credit Control - proactively chasing aged and current debt via telephone and email

Experience and requirements of the candidate

Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role but not essential

Experience of Sage desirable

Proficient in Excel

The ability to adapt, multi-task and work to deadlines

A self-starter with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

Positive working mentality

Package

Salary based on experience

23 days holiday (excl. bank holidays)

Potential for support if studying accounts package
