customs clearance compliance and internal process audit role. This role is working for a freight forwarding company in the Heathrow area. This role is a really interesting position, you will work on key accounts to ensure all the customs entries by the team are correct, doing spot checks of these, you will ensure all the up-to-date customs compliance law is known of within the team, you will work with HMRC to ensure all the claim documents are correct and audited. This role is ideal for someone from a large customs brokerage background or a inhouse customs clearance role within a company who is looking to grow further in customs clearance. �26-30k, mon-fri and office-based.�
The role

You will be based within the customs clearance department, you will do spot checks of the customs clearance entries the team have done, you will update the custom clearance systems, you will ensure everything runs smoothly for key clients by spot checking important imports/exports. You will also do training on any new customs laws, you will complete reports for the managers and support with any issues. you will also be a contact with HMRC. This role will include all the normal duties you will find of a compliance coordinator of a customs clearance department.�
Experience

We are looking for a�customs clearance compliance coordinator who has a few years within customs clearance within a large company or customs brokerage. You will have solid knowledge of customs laws, amazing attention to detail to spot check entry codes and to spot any issues before they become a issue for clients.�
