Cyber Threat Analyst - Entry LevelA Financial Services company based in London is currently hiring a Cyber Threat Analyst position at entry level to join their IT Information Security function in order to support cyber operations. Ideally this person will have a degree in Cyber Security or with relevant exposure to modules in Cyber Security.The Cyber Threat Analyst will join the defensive cyber security team in order to support their cyber security capability. To be successful in this role you will be looking to invest in a career in cybersecurity and have the ability to put into action experience learned in higher education. You will:Participate in defensive security operations with the opportunity to get involved in some more purple teaming activities.This will include threat hunting, incident handling, investigation and forensics, and detection engineering.Support incident response and threat handling;Be able to attend some on-call duties and after-hours support.Get involved with malware analysis and other forensic duties.Review intelligence feeds and the security landscape in order to stay up to date in advising security procedures.You will have:A degree in a relevant field e.g. Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering.Desirable experience in TryHackMe/HackTheBox or other relevant events. Scripting, development and automation tools – experience working with scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Rust. This is a hybrid position based in London.
