Senior Cyber Security Engineer OT – LondonElysium Talent partner and represent some of the most exciting and innovative Energy companies in the world with this role working for a leader in the Energy industry who are looking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join their growing team.Role Overview:The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will come with experience of working closely with 3rd party / customers on-premise, on-site cyber solutions. You will be working closely with customers to oversee and enhance the on-site security infrastructure.Job DescriptionThe main purpose of the role of Senior Cyber Security Engineer will be to protect the clients Industrial Control Systems and Machinery from Cyber Threats.You will have the ability and adaptability to provide solutions, advice and guidance to clients, for custom solutions and equipment provided by the business.ResponsibilitiesYou will lead and own the security assessments, audits at industrial sites to identify potential vulnerabilities.Enforce and develop security policies and procedures specific to Operational Technology.Be responsible for the installation and maintenance of security devices and software in industrial settings.Understanding OT Environments to design and implement security measures.To work closely with IT teams to ensure a smooth and efficient security practice across IT and OT domains along with SOC teams to ensure correct device reportingProviding guidance and expertise to senior management on OT cyber security matters.Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues with both ISP’s, ADSL, Satellite providers and Cellar providers.Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.Perform site assessments and vulnerability assessments using networking and security tools such as Nessus, Wireshark.Deploy hardware, ensure connectivity, and coordinate with the to ensure everything is in or-der.Reverse engineer (where needed) various networked equipment, including but not limited to routers, firewalls, and network switches.Experience RequiredBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology or equivalent experience.Experience in coaching and mentoring staff.Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA).Cyber Security and Firewall certificationExcellent communication skills and the ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Willingness to travel to various industrial sites around Europe is mandatoryA valid driver's licence and passport are mandatoryDesired:Experience in cyber security and network with a focus on OT environmentsIn-depth knowledge of industrial control systems ICS/SCADA and its protocolsBenefitsFantastic benefits including Annual Bonus, pension scheme etcPlease get in touch to know moreIf you are interested, please click apply and we will be sure to be in touch.Elysium Talent operates in accordance with the equal opportunities act
