Cyber Security Reporting Analyst (6-month Contract)
Location: Hybrid working – 2 days in the London Office per week 
Duration: 6-month contract
Rate: Up to £280 per day Inside IR35

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Cyber Security Reporting Analyst to join our team for a financial client. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of driving the security posture of the bank, ensuring we provide a safe and sustainable digital environment for their customers. The role will focus on the definition, design, and delivery of security reporting that supports our mission to provide data-led security insights. You’ll play a key role in supporting the maturity of their continuous control monitoring service and collaborating with teams to improve their security capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level knowledge in the analysis and visualization of cyber security data to communicate security posture to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with both technical and business teams to ensure security testing outcomes are well-understood and implemented.
  • Influence decisions to reduce security risks across the organization.
  • Proactively contribute to the improvement of reporting, automation, and metrics capabilities.
  • Support the standardization of metrics to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Demonstrate a professional ‘can do’ attitude, working effectively under pressure and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for security-related decisions and control testing across business, operational, and technical teams.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI/Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proven experience in developing dashboards, scorecards, and metrics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics and supporting the management of services/functions.
  • Knowledge of risk management and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, and other reporting/automation technologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
  • Security domain knowledge.
  • Financial Services experience. 
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
