Role Description

Partners Capital are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst (Senior Associate) to join our London based team. The Cyber Security Analyst will play a key role in maintaining and improving the security of Partners Capital’s information assets. The role requires a good technical and practical understanding of information security topics and techniques. The Cyber Security Analyst will work with a variety of teams and stakeholders across the business and will provide high quality security guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for technical design, implementation and maintenance of our technical security infrastructure.
  • Create and enforce security policies, standard and guidelines to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with security best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to awareness and training programmes to educate stakeholders on security best practices and policies.

Requirements and Skills

  • Formal qualifications or certification on enterprise level security solution concepts and advanced working expertise
  • Skilled in planning, designing and implementing enterprise level security solutions
  • Experience of working on one or more Public Cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
  • Advanced in one of more programming/scripting languages e.g. Python or PowerShell
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development life cycle
  • In-depth knowledge of IT security principles, practices and technologies
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Highly self motivated and able to demonstrate a passion for Cyber Security
  • Threat hunting experience and a good working knowledge of security strategies
  • A background in security architecture and developing and designing security controls in a cloud environment would be advantageous
  • Experience of using a variety of analytical tools and methods to identify security compromises within large and sophisticated data sets
  • Understanding of techniques and tools to perform forensics and root cause analysis
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences and explain the impact of vulnerabilities or threats in a business focused language
  • Industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA, CEH) would be advantageous
