Location: Frome

Salary (Dependent on Experience): £30,000 – 36,000

We are currently seeking skilled Dairy Technicians to join our team at our Frome and Huntley depots. In this role, you will report to the Head of Operations and will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and first-time fixes of milking plant breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, install, and attend breakdowns of milking equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance of milking parlours.
  • Carry out installation work as needed.
  • Focus on achieving a first-time fix and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and organised work environment.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.

Territory Coverage:

The role will cover Somerset, Wiltshire, and Gloucestershire, depending on the job holder’s location.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in mechanics with a focus on electrical work.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
  • Highly organised, flexible, and adaptable to changing tasks and situations.
  • Attention to customer requirements and detail.
  • Team player.
  • Must possess a full UK driving licence.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 weekends on-call rota (once trained).
