A London Market Insurer is seeking a Data Analyst to join their forward-thinking team. This role will provide support on data analysis activities to enhance the Data team's capabilities and improve decision-making. This organisation is committed to embracing technology and is well into their cloud transformation journey. Reporting into the Head of Data, you will be making a key contribution to this technology adoption as member of the core data team.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, as well as a strong background in data quality and MDM. The role will require a solid understanding of business requirements, and for you to perform data analysis and ensure data quality and consistency across the organisation. Your efforts will also contribute to the development and maintenance of robust data quality frameworks and MDM solutions, enabling the business to make the best use of its data. This position will involve close collaboration with various teams to support data management best practices and ensure high data quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis to assess the quality, meaning, and usage of data
• Support reference data management and the integration of reference data across various applications
• Work closely with the business, translating business needs into technological requirements
• Develop and maintain reports to facilitate decision-making for the business
• Develop policies and procedures to support reference data and data quality management
• Maintain reference data and data quality

Requirements:

• London Market Insurance experience
• Proficient in SQL and data visualisation/reporting tools (PowerBI)
• Experience in Data Quality and Reference Data management
• Understanding of data integration and ETL processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate across the business
