Data & Analytics Lead / Head of DataHarvey Nash is working with a fantastic business who are looking for a Data & Analytics lead to propel their data usage to the next level. This role will be the lead data position in the organisation, overseeing a small team of specialists, and will create a data strategy for the organisation to ensure maintenance and enhancements for the data infrastructure, and foster a data culture within the team and organisation.Responsibilities:Improve and manage the data systems, and enhance the current infrastructure.Ensure the data accuracy and reliability is of high quality.Run an audit on the business’s existing data warehousing systems and processes, to develop a comprehensive plan and strategy for implementing a new data warehouse.Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy for the business, and review existing data plan.Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the data warehouse architecture and modelling standards across the business.Manage the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, ensuring efficient data processing and integrations.Lead a small team of data specialists, mentoring and coaching them.Work closely with different stakeholders to analyse data, generate actionable insights and create reports to help drive business decisions.Support the business intelligence (BI) structure and create and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports, ensuring that stakeholders have access to reliable data.Foster a data culture across the organisation, advocating for best practices in data management & analytics.Required:Proven experience in data management, MIS reporting & ETL processes.Strong skills in SQL Server, SSIS and data warehousing.Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Power BI).Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.Ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
