Working for a well funding and profitable, hypergrowth health & wellness eCommerce brand, the Head of Data Insight / Data & Analytics Lead / Senior Manager Customer Insight role involves managing one data engineer to build and develop a data insight capability across all business functions, including marketing channels, customer data, eCommerce, product ranges and more.They doubled in size last year and have ambitious plans to dominate their product category in the UK and then internationally. Equity will be part of the package.This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days in their West London offices, although they’re very delivery focussed with lots of flexibility.Candidates for the Head of Data Insight / Data & Analytics Lead / Senior Manager Customer Insight role will:Partner with teams across the business to deliver comprehensive reports, dashboards & insights to facilitate informed decisionsAnalyse financial, ecommerce, wholesale, operations, and marketing dataUncover insights and provide recommendations to improve digital product, ecommerce, customer marketing, and business strategiesAutomate reports/tools to communicate actionable insights that drive decision-makingOwn the data roadmap and communicate data strategy effectively and simply to functional leaders and executivesMaintain a clear data dictionary and source of truth for key business metricsEnsure data integrity, security, and compliance, in partnership with external vendorsDevelop and implement data strategies aligned with business goalsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to make data accessible to end usersMaintain data architecture and reports to meet business needsAddress and resolve internal stakeholder questions involving data, tool usage, and reportingOwn, maintain, and optimise data ingestion, transformation, database design, and visualisation with the goal of data democratisationDevelop effective data solutions - design, build and optimise scalable data models and warehouses.Automate internal manual processes, optimise data delivery, and improve infrastructure for greater scalabilityCreate analytics tools that leverage the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metricsCandidates for the Head of Data Insight / Data & Analytics Lead / Senior Manager Customer Insight role must have:Experience in a data & analytics role in a CPG/online retailer business, or with an agency that supports GPB brandsStrong experience in a data & insight role with a transactional eCommerce environment.Experience providing insight across a broad range of business area, including marketing effectiveness, eCommerce, operations, etc.Ideally experience with direct-to-consumer ecommerce and digital marketing data sources, including Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, Google Analytics, Meta, Google AdsStrong proficiency in Excel, SQL and ideally Snowflake or similarAn exceptional problem-solver, making data-driven decisions with confidence and clarity.
