About the Role



We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team within a large-scale organisation. The role will support the design, implementation, and governance of data architecture solutions that will drive organisational. This position requires deep expertise in data architecture, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work within a security-focused environment.





Key Responsibilities:




  • Data Strategy & Architecture Design: Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures that align with business and security objectives.

  • Data Governance: Define and enforce data governance standards and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Data Modeling & Mapping: Create detailed data models, ensuring integration across multiple systems and compliance with SC-level data protection standards.

  • System Integration: Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to integrate data solutions across various platforms, ensuring consistent data quality and security.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the organization, translating business requirements into robust, secure data architectures.

  • Data Security: Implement data protection controls to meet SC clearance requirements and ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.





Key Requirements:




  • Experience: Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in data architecture, data modelling, and database design within a high-security environment.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data modelling tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), SQL, and ETL processes. Experience with Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar, is advantageous.

  • Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance preferred or eligibility for SC clearance.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills, with experience in managing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in secure data architecture design.
