We have a very exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager, selling data cables and solutions�within the Data Centre industry.� This is a great�opportunity for the successful candidate to join a large International company and be part of growing an exciting sector for the business.



As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will play a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of the company focusing on Data Centres.



Key Responsibilities






    • Market Research & Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.

    • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry associations.

    • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.

    • Sales & Revenue Growth:

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned sector.

    • Prepare and present proposals, negotiations, and close deals.

    • Product & Sector Expertise:

    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services related to the business.

    • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

    • Provide feedback and insights to enhance product offerings and customer experiences.





Specific Sector Responsibilities:






    • Data Centre:

    • Focus on data centre infrastructure, services, and technology solutions.

    • Engage with data centre operators, cloud service providers, and technology firms.

    • Collaborate with Data Centre contractors and consultant bodies.





Person Requirements




  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the assigned sector.
