To support these complex operations, the MoD partners with this Big4 Firm to empower critical thinking and drive value across its strategic initiatives and Data & AI technology investments.The Role:As an AI & Cloud Data Engineering practitioner, you’ll build large-scale data pipelines and infrastructure, utilising data integration tools to optimise complex data solutions.Collaborating with high-performing Data Science and ML Engineering teams to drive innovation and insight through AI and Data across the Defence & Security sector.Required Skills/Experience:British Passport Holder with active DV (Developed Vetting Clearance)End-to-end development with data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration - using core concepts that apply across tech stacks.Working with diverse data sources and types - batch, streaming, real-time, and unstructured.Systems thinking and architectural design skills for building scalable, high-performance data solutions.Data modelling, warehouse design, database optimisation knowledge - with samples of logical/physical models that reflect proficiency.Deploying and managing distributed data systems.Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and tune these systems for reliability and performance.Coding experience demonstrating modularity, reusability, and efficiency - across languages.Understanding full development lifecycle, SDLC concepts, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of data security, governance, metadata management, and master data principles.Communication skills, ability to understand business requirements and translate to technical data solutionsBenefits:Base Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 (DoE)Discretionary Bonus: Circa 10% per annumDV Bonus: Circa £6,000Cash Flex Fund: £5000Health: Private Medical InsuranceAnnual Leave: 25 Days plus Public Holidays + buy up to 10 additional daysL&D: Annual Performance/Salary Reviews + Training & Development BudgetPension: 6% Matched Pension + Group Personal Pension PlanLife Assurance: Up to a maximum of four times the Earnings CapOccupational Sick PayPersonal Accident InsuranceFor more information, apply below or contact us directly.Contact: 02077806706Data Engineer
