We are currently undergoing an ambitious data transformation to shape the future of Data and revolutionize the property industry. This role is diverse and involves creating data-as-a-product solutions, including:Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business needsBuilding infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources using cloud technologiesExtending and maintaining the Data Warehouse platform to support our reporting solutionsEnsuring the Data Platform aligns with the agreed cost model and budgetProviding strong thought leadership and leading by exampleAbout You The ideal candidate can inspire, lead, and mentor others, with effective communication skills.You will Have:Extensive data engineering experience in both Cloud and On-prem environmentsExcellent knowledge of data technology, data transformation tools, and data governance techniquesGood understanding of Quality and Information Security principlesExperience with Azure, ETL Tools such as ADF and DatabricksAdvanced Database and SQL skills, along with SQL, Python, Pyspark, Spark SQLStrong understanding of data model design and implementation principlesData warehousing design patterns and implementationBenefits:£50-£60k DOEMainly home based working.
