Data Engineer - Join a Talented Team!Are you ready to be an integral part of a multi-function Data Engineering team for a top organisation listed in the 'Best 100 Large Companies' to work for?This is a great role for someone with Data Transformation experience, keen to develop and contribute to our future strategic ambitions.£60,000 + 15% BonusHybrid - 2 days in Swindon office / 3 days RemoteAs the successful Data Engineer you will have the following experience:Azure Data ServicesAzure SynapseSQL Server / TSQLSSIS, SSRSData modellingPower BIData Warehouse and Report Layer designStrong SQL/database querying skillsKnowledge of Azure portal, Azure services and Azure DevOpsExperience of D365 BeneficialAs the successful Data Engineer you will:Support the design and maintain the Azure SQL / Synapse meta data frameworkDevelop Azure Synapse pipelines to load source data to the Data Lake and provide data to the Report layer(s) Power BIPerform data transformations as per mapping documentsDevelop Azure Synapse pipelines for audit capture, error, and exception handlingAutomate Azure Synapse pipelines and Report Layer jobs using scheduling toolsEnsure quality is embedded and provable at every stage of code developmentProvide design input for all technical deliverablesCreate and maintain Technical SpecificationsData extracts from Legacy systemsMigration of data and processes from legacy systems to Azure SynapseIdentify improvements to existing processes and helping to migrate data and modelling into Azure SynapseIf you are an ambitious Data Engineer, keen to join a well-respected organisation who invests in their people, then please do click apply now.
