Data Engineer - *Remote* - £45,000 + Benefits!Our client, an award-winning enterprise software scale-up, is seeking a Data Engineer who is eager to learn! As a Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing customer integrations, playing a key role in setting the standards for integration processes as the company scales. This role is highly collaborative, offering you the chance to work directly with clients to gather requirements and implement new data solutions.What You'll DoCollaborate with software implementation consultants to define and verify ETL process specifications.Test and validate customer data endpoints in partnership with customer IT teams to ensure they meet the required standards.Implement, test, and deploy Azure Data Factory pipeline definitions in customer environments using version control.Work closely with the Site Reliability Engineering team to ensure the solutions you develop are robust, reliable, and easily observable.Partner with the Engineering teams to guarantee end-to-end data integration capabilities.Provide support during the transition to production systems, including outside normal working hours when necessary.About YouDemonstrated experience in Azure Data Factory or similar cloud ETL technology, with a track record of building transparent, easy-to-maintain pipelines.Proven experience in a Data Engineering role, with expertise in developing and maintaining data integrations across various external systems.Strong understanding of the ETL process and its applications.Comfortable in a client-facing role, with excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences.Proficient in working with complex referential data, REST APIs, SQL databases, and other data sources.A collaborative team player with experience working across departments.Detail-oriented, with a knack for breaking down complex problems into manageable steps.Sound good?
