Data Engineering Manager💰 £100,000-£105,000🖥️ GCP, Python, Terraform🌍 London, twice a week in London office🏡 Leading UK PropTechWe are partnered exclusively with one of the UK's leading property platforms who have million of customers visit and use their website every month, and they are looking for a Data Engineering Manager to spearhead their data engineering team.The role...Presiding over the data engineering team, this role will play a key part in driving the delivery of data use cases as well as the continued build of the self-serve data platform, enabling the data scientists and analysts from across business to get the insights they need to drive business strategy.What you'll be doing...You will line manage the Data Engineers and Senior Data Engineers, providing technical mentorship, career coaching and personal development opportunities.You will own the agile development practices for the team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the scope, requirements, and deliverables of data engineering projects.You will oversee end-to-end project delivery, managing expectations around timelines and quality standards.You will support the team with short-to-medium term planning i.e. at the sprint and quarterly level.You will also perform code and architectural reviews, providing guidance on how best to align with data engineering best practices and cloud standards.What they are looking for...You combine an analytical and business-oriented mindset to create intelligent data solutions that generate powerful insights, as well as great user and customer experiences.You have demonstrable line management experience.You have experience working in, or closely with, a data analytics or science team.You demonstrate a deep understanding of databases and analytical data warehouses.Extensive exposure to GCP (preferred) or AWS.You know what good data infrastructure looks like; can work with architects to set a vision for the data platform.Tech Stack: GCP, Python, Terraform, DBT, Looker.DE&I is also at the heart of the business (as demonstrated by an all-female data leadership!) and they strongly believe that ensuring diversity of background and experience will lead to a more fun and inclusive workplace and the creation of better products for their users!If you are interested in finding out more, please apply or contact me directly!📧 ##### Engineering Manager💰 £100,000-£105,000🖥️ GCP, Python, Terraform🌍 London, twice a week in London office🏡 Leading UK PropTech
