Simply put, it’s our mission to make it easy to buy and sell OOH inventory.Role OverVIOOHWe are looking for a Data Scientist to work on VIOOH’s advanced algorithms (branded as VIOOH Intelligence), which includes:A state-of-the-art proprietary allocation engine, capable of allocating bookings with multiple constraints (see using mixed integer programming.Portfolio reallocation tools to optimise allocation between existing, new and future opportunities.Demand forecasts using machine learning to provide insights and recommendations to our media owners.Tailored pricing recommendations, from deal pricing to dynamic floor pricing based on demand forecast.An advanced yield reporting suite.This is a hands-on technical role involving rapid prototyping, mathematical modelling, statistical analysis, programming, and optimisation. If you enjoy solving interesting problems and making an impact on the business, then this role may be right for you.What we want from youThe following are required -3-5 years data science experience working on optimisation algorithms (linear/integer programming) or machine learning (forecasting), with some experience on both topics.Proven track record of designing and implementing production quality algorithms in Python utilising tools such as GIT and JIRA.A master’s degree or PhD in applied mathematics, operations research, statistics, or a related fieldThe following are nice to have, but not required -A background in mathematical optimisation with experience in researching and developing algorithms for solving real-world problemsExperience with:Optimisation modelling systems (e.g. GAMS) and solvers (e.g. CPLEX, GUROBI etc.)Dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Thoughtspot, Quicksight or Looker and proficiency in SQLDBTJupyter notebooksCloud services such as AWS (e.g., Sagemaker, Bedrock), Azure, or GoogleMedia/advertising industry, consulting and/or client-facing experienceApplication overVIOOHOur recruitment team will work hard to give you a positive experience throughout the process, no matter the outcome.
