My client, a leading insurer, is seeking a Data Scientist to play a pivotal role in the Data science and team and enhance it's data science capabilities. This organisation values long-term partnerships, innovative solutions, and a collaborative culture.This hybrid/London-based role offers up to circa £70,000, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.The job:Supporting data science projects to drive data cleansing, data mining, and automation.Collaborate with the pricing team to provide insights for company's profitability.Utilize AI techniques to automate manual business tasks.Extract and analyse data from external sources for proactive.Support and upskill junior data scientists and analysts.The candidate:Experience working as a Data Scientist for a minimum of 2 years experience in the Insurance domainProficiency in programming (Python, PyArrow, PySpark).Strong Statistical modelling experience Experience with machine learning libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn).Familiarity with Data engineering and cloud computing (MS Azure Cloud, Azure ML Studio, Azure DevOps).Strong skills in database management and SQL.Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively.
