Database Administrator - Financial Services - London Salary: to £50K + bonus & great benefitsJob Type: PermanentLocation: City of LondonHybrid: 3 days a week in the officeA fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of our financial services clients for a DBA with 2 to 3 years of experience.Ideally, you will have been working with SQL Server, however, experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL would also be accepted, as long as you have the drive to work with MS SQL Server.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding BAU Support within a talented Database teamConfiguring and troubleshooting SQL Server databasesMonitoring and reporting on database health checksAssisting in database deployments and maintenanceScripting and automating processes for application deliveryCollaborating with various teams to ensure project delivery is correctRequirements2+ years experience as a DBA, ideally working with SQL ServerExperience in dealing with Disaster Recover (DR)Ideally you will have some automation skills, Ansible would be greatSome programming skills, ideally with Python but Java, SQL, and PowerShell would be good tooA desire to learn and the ability to pick up new technologies quicklyTo be considered, please complete your application on the Computappoint website.
