Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Client Outreach: Identifying and contacting potential clients to generate sales leads.
  • Sales Presentations & Negotiation: Presenting event opportunities, negotiating deals, and closing sales.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Event Promotion & Marketing: Promoting events through targeted campaigns and personalised outreach.
  • Achieving Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding individual and team sales goals.
  • CRM & Data Management: Keeping accurate records of leads, client interactions, and sales activities.
  • Collaboration: Working with marketing and event teams to ensure smooth sales and event experiences.
  • Follow-Up & Upselling: Following up with clients, encouraging repeat attendance, and identifying opportunities for additional sales.
  • Market Research: Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities to improve sales strategies.

Experience:

  • Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, particularly in a B2B or events-focused environment, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Event Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the event, conference, or exhibition industry, understanding delegate needs and market trends.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and present effectively.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Experience: Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate deals, handle objections, and close sales effectively.
  • Networking Abilities: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals.
  • Goal-Oriented: A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on your feet, resolve issues quickly, and tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Self-Motivated & Independent: Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and drive sales with little supervision.

Location: Cornwall

Contract: 6 Months

Shift Pattern: Hybrid

Pay: �23k +8k OTE
