We are seeking a motivated and experienced Deli Manager/Assistant Store Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth operations. If you have a passion for food, excellent leadership skills, and experience in deli or food retail, we would love to hear from you!

Main Responsibilities:
Demonstrate strong product knowledge and contribute innovative product ideas.
Manage stock levels, including ordering and maintaining appropriate volumes of stock.
Oversee merchandising of shop floor displays, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-stocked.
Lead and inspire a team, providing training and guidance to ensure top performance.
Maintain cost control measures to optimize productivity, minimize waste, and ensure healthy profit margins.
Handle key holder responsibilities, including opening and closing the store.
Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations by maintaining accurate records.
Schedule staff effectively to ensure coverage and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with the store manager to manage the cookery school, including organizing and overseeing classes.
Deliver an outstanding customer experience by ensuring high standards of service and product quality.
Ideal Candidate will have:
At least 1 year of management experience, preferably in a deli or food retail setting.
Hands-on experience with food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, and more.
Strong knowledge of charcuterie, cheese, and other deli products.
Barista skills and experience in preparing quality coffee beverages.
Expertise in food safety practices, including HACCP.
Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development and customer service.
