Delivery Manager - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contact - Manchester, Hybrid (2 days a week on site)

The Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing a technical project and working with cross-functional teams, collaborating with various stakeholders to manage the workload and ensure high-quality delivery.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and leading project activities, managing external delivery partners, addressing risks, issues, and dependencies, project reporting, financial management, and stakeholder engagement. The role involves identifying, managing, and reporting on project dependencies, milestones, critical paths, and potential risks and issues, ensuring appropriate and effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans exist and are acted upon.

The Delivery Manager will ensure full governance and compliance with Digital IT project standards, policies, processes, and tools. Additionally, the role requires developing and maintaining an effective communication and engagement strategy with project team members and stakeholders, including third parties and suppliers, ensuring timely and clear communication. Building, developing, and growing relationships vital to the success of the project is essential. The Delivery Manager will also manage and document project escalations, ensuring timely and successful resolution.
