Delivery Manager – Hereford – £65,00 per annum – Hybrid
DCS Tech are proudly partnered with a key client together we’re seeking a dynamic and skilled Delivery Manager to spearhead critical initiatives that drive operational excellence. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing projects that manage billions of pounds in transactions annually, directly impacting internal teams, clients, and customers alike.
Project Leadership:
Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they align with business goals and agile methodologies. You’ll serve as a key advocate for the Portfolio Management Office.
Strategic Release Planning:
Play a crucial role in shaping the broader portfolio by leveraging agile practices to adapt to shifting priorities and market trends.
Change Management:
Embrace and promote a positive attitude towards change, guiding teams through transformation with clarity and confidence.
Agile Facilitation:
Lead agile ceremonies and processes, keeping teams focused, aligned, and motivated to deliver top-quality results.
Risk Management:
Proactively identify, report, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, using agile frameworks to navigate challenges and ensure successful delivery.
Drive the adoption of project management best practices, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance across all project activities.
Proven Project Management Skills:
Experience managing a diverse range of projects from start to finish across various business functions, with the ability to navigate both agile and waterfall environments.
A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, databases, and system design, with the ability to translate technical language for non-technical audiences.
A certified Project Management qualification or relevant IT/Management qualification, showcasing your dedication to professional development and industry best practices.
Strong knowledge of Financial Services, particularly in areas like BACS, direct debits, payment cards, prepaid, and cash transactions.
