Delivery Surveyor – York (Hybrid) - £28,000 - £35,000 and benefits
The successful candidate will need considerable experience in surveys and rail.
Purpose of the Role
• To carry out topographical and railway surveys
• To carry out surveys to the requirements of the survey specifications in contracts or to the requirements of Designers
• To accurately and reliably produce survey data to present to clients or designers.
Key Accountabilities
• Geospatial Technical Knowledge
• Basic understanding of control grids and post processing
• Basic understanding of Network Rail and relevant industry standards
• Basic user of N4ce or similar software package
• Knowledge of the following survey techniques (office & site) Structure Gauging, Large Topographic Surveys, Deformation Monitoring, Setting Out, Precise Levelling, Laser Scanning surveys
• When working on Network Rail Infrastructure Contracts all staff hold the appropriate certification that is required i.e. PTS/LOOKOUT/COSS etc.
• While working on Network Rail controlled infrastructure, he complies with any rules, regulations and instructions either written in general terms or issued verbally on site by the appropriate person i.e. COSS etc.
