Demolition Supervisor

TD Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced demolition supervisor to work for our client in Oxfordshire area.�

Job Summary:

• You will be responsible for overseeing and managing demolition projects from start to finish.


• Your role will involve supervising a team of demolition labourers, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of demolition workers


• Plan and organize demolition projects, including creating work schedules and assigning tasks


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols


• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress


• Collaborate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution


• Monitor equipment usage and maintenance to ensure optimal performance


• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or issues


• Train new employees on proper demolition techniques and safety procedures


• Maintain accurate project records, including documentation of work completed, materials used, and any incidents or accidents

Qualifications:

• CSCS/CCDO card


• Asbestos awareness certificate


• Proven experience as a Demolition Supervisor or similar role


• Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and safety protocols


• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills


• Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and subcontractors


• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail


• Physical stamina to perform manual labour as needed


• Valid driver's license


• It would be a major positive if you had experience of completing RAMS for sites.
