Deputy Director Credit Risk & Portfolio Management

We are currently looking for a Deputy Director Credit Risk & Portfolio Management with experience working in the public sector and with knowledge of IFRS 9 standards, to join a UK GOV department - for a 6 months rolling contract, hybrid working in the South-West area.

Experienced Required:

• Qualified /or substantial equivalent experience in SME lending and/or investment decisions, in a fund, banking or alternative finance environment
• Stakeholder management - C-executive level
• Strong credit risk evaluation skills
• Strong technical and strategic (corporate) finance and risk management capabilities
• Proven capability to build/ maintain/ coach a team, develop and implement new initiatives within an organisation on a significant scale
• Evidence of having helped UK SMEs grow through new products and/or markets
• Knowledge of fair value accounting in the context of IFRS9
• Public Sector Experience
