Requirements


  • Must Hold QTS/QTLS
  • Have a proven track record of successfully teaching science to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Right to work in the UK - this is essential
  • Must provide 2 proven professional references - this is essential
  • Possess or willing to obtain a DBS Certificate on the update service
  • The ability to lead curriculum development and innovation

Responsibilities


  • Design and deliver an engaging and future-focused Science curriculum
  • Lead and mentor fellow teachers, sharing your expertise and supporting professional growth within the department
  • Drive high standards in Science education, ensuring all students have the opportunity to achieve their best
  • Observe teaching with an open-door approach
  • Contribute to the Science department's curriculum development
  • Openly communicate with all members of the department
