Halcyon is excited to be working with an up-and-coming domiciliary organisation based in Bournemouth, that specialise in providing bespoke care to elderly clients in the area. This family-owned care provider specialises in implementing tailor-made packages for clients with varying needs including Dementia and Alzheimer's, delivering exceptionally high levels of care, and personal service. The director has been in the care sector personally for over 10 years, building her knowledge around best practices and incorporating them into the roots of the business model, enabling her to obtain an overall GOOD in her first inspection with CQC last year.

As the business is growing and developing, the director is now looking to expand the team and is looking for an ambitious Deputy Manager who can help support the Service Manager in taking the business to the next stages by helping to manage the staff team and take on managerial tasks in the service managers absence. As the Deputy Manager it will be your responsibility to work alongside the Service Manager in ensuring the staff team are confident and competent in their roles and delivering the expected standards of care, through demonstrated best practises as taught by yourself and the management team.

You will be expected to have a minimum experience 2 years in a domiciliary setting and be confident overseeing small to medium staff teams, whilst having a basic understanding of KLOE's and CQC guidelines in order to support your Service Manager and the service in their absence. If you're a Senior Support Worker looking to take a step-up, this could be the perfect role for you, as you will have the support and guidance of your Service Manager and Director, but also have the autonomy to manage your own team. If you're currently a Deputy Manager but you feel stagnant in your current role, then this could be the ideal opportunity to bring some excitement back into your career and work with a vibrant, exciting new company with impressive progression opportunities.

In return for your full commitment to this role, you will be offered a salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on your experience, along with a generous holiday and benefits package. Upon joining the organisation, you will be fully inducted and introduced to the business by the director, followed by a structured plan for your initial 3 months in the business, ensuring you have everything you need to be successful in your new role. If you think you may know someone who would be great for this position, you could earn £200 through our refer-a-friend scheme. We look forward to receiving your application!
