Our client in is a family-run business that has grown to encompass over 40 care homes and 2,800+ employees. Your key responsibility is to oversee all clinical aspects of care within the home; a unique role whereby you will be managing a large nursing department with direct reports to general management for all matters relating to regulatory standards set out by CQC.
As a Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager, you will:

• Monitor care standards delivered by staff
\n
• Prepare staff duty rotas to ensure adequate coverage
\n
• Oversee residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needed
\n
• Act as a contact point for residents, relatives, and health professionals
\n
• Manage the home in the manager’s absence
\n
• Work collaboratively with the team and respond to tasks promptly
\n

Ideal candidates for the Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager role will have:

• Experience as a Deputy Manager or at least two years as a Team Leader in Care
\n
• Strong leadership and motivation skills
\n
• Excellent engagement abilities with residents and families
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Experience working with people with dementia
\n
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care; NVQ Level 5 is advantageous or willingness to achieve it
