Your key responsibility is to oversee all clinical aspects of care within the home; a unique role whereby you will be managing a large nursing department with direct reports to general management for all matters relating to regulatory standards set out by CQC.
As a Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager, you will:
\n- Monitor care standards delivered by staff
\n- Prepare staff duty rotas to ensure adequate coverage
\n- Oversee residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needed
\n- Act as a contact point for residents, relatives, and health professionals
\n- Manage the home in the manager’s absence
\n- Work collaboratively with the team and respond to tasks promptly

Ideal candidates for the Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager role will have:\n- Experience as a Deputy Manager or at least two years as a Team Leader in Care
\n- Strong leadership and motivation skills
\n- Excellent engagement abilities with residents and families
\n- Strong written and verbal communication skills
\n- Experience working with people with dementia
\n- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care; NVQ Level 5 is advantageous or willingness to achieve it
