We're recruiting a Deputy Manager for a well-established 5-bed children's home in Dunmow, Essex, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

\nWhat you'll be doing:\n

Supporting the Registered Manager in daily operations \n- \n
Leading, mentoring, and supervising the care team \n- \n
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures \n- \n
Building trusted relationships with children, families, and external professionals \n- \n
Taking the lead in the Registered Manager's absence \n
\nWhat we're looking for:\n
\n- \n
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) - Level 5 a bonus! \n- \n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential children's care setting \n- \n
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and care regulations \n- \n
Confident leadership skills and a calm, caring approach \n- \n
A natural role model who leads with empathy, consistency, and respect \n
