Aramark UK have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic inspirational hospitality leader to join us as Deputy Retail Operations Manager at Everton Football Club. The impressive brand-new Bramley-Moore Liverpool stadium is set to be one of the most revolutionary and advanced venues for fan experience in Europe. Serving 52,888 fans per matchday, the mission is to set the standard for excellence and create exceptional experiences for Evertonians.The role holder will form part of the senior retail operations team and will and will deputise for the Senior Retail Operations Manager. Supporting with installing process and developing the team around youProvide first class non-event day and event day retail, bar, third party concessions operationsUphold and manage business needs and performance expectations and standardsEncourage and establishing a culture of innovation.To champion HSE within the unit and lead by example, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and regulations, inclusive of Aramark’s health and safety policiesTo champion sustainability throughout the retail departmentGain an understanding of delivery of financial targets and Key Performance Indicators within areas of responsibilityTraining and delivery of quality and operational standards and upholding the sameEstablish excellent relationships with clients, contractors, and other departmentsManagement and development of relevant personnel, providing inspiration and leadership to deliver exceptional serviceBe innovative and continually look for ways to optimise sales and profitability to ensure delivery of departmental financial targets, as driven by a ‘smart’ approach to maximising the customer experience in terms of queue times, use and application of technology and the provision of enticing marketing offersDemonstrate full partnership alignment with the client vision and Aramark values being paramount. Achieve this by consistently doing the right thing and celebrating successesTake point on projects an ensure you are liaising with culinary and marketing specialist colleagues to implement continuous food product development and drive footfall. Focusing on local, fresh produceLiaison with 3rd party suppliers and contractors to underpin effective service delivery and product qualityContinually aware of the customer journey, pressure points and opportunities to observe, capture and act on client and customer feedback continuallyReview wastage with the culinary team and cellar team, look at opportunities to control, educate and reduce to support overall GP% targetsKey Requirements:Min 2 years’ experience in retail and beverage environment essentialExperience in a multisite outlet, stadium or event catering environment essential.This role covers 5 days out of seven and will include some evenings and weekendsStrong leadership qualities and excellent communicatorStrong organisation skills and commercial awareness – sees beyond the obvious and is resourceful in seizing opportunities and solving problemsStandards and quality driven hands-on management styleEffective team player, with a “can-do” attitudeEnergetic and fast operatorAssertive, calm, works well under pressureMotivated by a passion for quality and great service deliveryTo lead a safe & hygienic operation, complying with all Company & legislative requirements, driving excellence in safety performanceAbout Aramark UKAramark is a leading service and solutions provider in the UK.
