Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: £185-£210 Daily Rate
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Simply Education is working closely with a forward-thinking Secondary School in Bolton to recruit a full-time D&T Teacher for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to join a school with a strong commitment to supporting its teachers and fostering student engagement in Design and Technology.

This position involves teaching a range of D&T disciplines, including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, and Catering. A background or experience in catering is highly desirable as you will play a key role in delivering lessons that equip students with valuable practical and culinary skills.

We are looking for a D&T Teacher who is enthusiastic, innovative, and passionate about inspiring students to think creatively and develop practical skills. The successful D&T Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons tailored to meet a variety of student abilities and interests.

The Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a PGCE, GTP, BA Education, B.Ed, or relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Design and Technology as a D&T Teacher at the Secondary School level.
• Possess strong behavior management and classroom management skills.
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to all abilities.
• Have a solid understanding of the British National Curriculum for Design and Technology, including catering.
• Demonstrate a passion for teaching and motivating students to achieve their potential.
