The Company

An international engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of industrial filtration systems for a wide number of applications.

The Role

This is a position that will require a dedicated and skilled Design Engineer. You will be responsible to produce quality and bespoke designs for specific contracts in collaboration with the Design Manager.

The work will include the following:

• Prepare calculations and design of all vessels based on PD5500; EN and ASME codes of practice

• Make a selection of suitable weld types and preparation details

• Design vessel and components using Creo 3D CAD software

• Assist in developing the use of existing design tools to reduce costs and improved lead times within the department

• Produce innovative and novel new product designs, and to assist in the development of existing products

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must

1.��� HNC or above in Engineering or equivalent experience (i.e. a time served apprentice)

2.��� Experience of working in an engineering environment

3.��� 3D parametric CAD system experience

4.��� Pressure vessel experience and pressure vessel code experience

5.� ��Experience of basic mechanical and design principles
