Design Engineer

Design Engineer Our client a leading Engineer company based in Co. Tyrone is in search of aDesign Engineer to join their team. They have went from strength to strength over the past number of years and are now looking to add to their existing product range and enter in to new markets. Main Responsibilities: To design products that are technically feasible and commercially profitable As appropriate, to research and keep up to date with new materials, parts and methods of deployment To develop detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing, aligned to the companys production processes and machinery Use CAD design software to create models and drawings of products Organise and maintain engineering records Ensure components and designs meet applicable industry and business standards Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that products are manufactured according to the drawing and designs, and to provide design engineering advice as required The successful candidate must have: A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline with 2 years related design /development work experience Strong knowledge of 3D SolidWorks Experience using Microsoft packages Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Team player The successful candidate will receive: Highly competitive salary Company pension Company healthcare Refer a Friend scheme Long Service Awards Career progression Other employee benefits What you need to do now This truly is a great role, if youre interested in this role, clickapply now to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or call
