Design Engineer Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 DOE

Orion are currently working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Gloucester who are looking for an experienced Design Engineer.

They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their small, friendly team and work hands-on in the fast-paced environment.

Design Engineer Duties:

Create Engineering drawings to aid the production team in welding and fabricating material handling equipment.

CAD 2D & 3D drawings of our material handling equipment

Creating 2D & 3D models, engineering drawings, parts lists and layouts

Apply 2D & 3D CAD Modelling techniques to complex designs and assignment

Provide design solutions

Compile technical documentation such as user manuals, spec sheets and instructions.

Design Engineer required Experience:

5+ years experience 2D & 3D CAD experience AutoCAD & in steel manufacturing

Minimum of 5x GCSEs

HNC/HND

Degree qualification in an engineering/design-related

Highly motivated team player

Design Engineer Package:

Competitive Salary of £35,000 - £42,000

23 day holiday allowance

Pension contribution

Onsite parking

Design Engineer Shifts:

Monday Friday: 8:00 17:00
