Design Manager

Blue Water Recruitment are currently looking for a Design Manager to work for a Principal Contractor based in South Wales. �

The successful candidate will be working on new build construction projects across South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements specs


• Assist in the review of the Design, procurement and construction information to ensure it complies with Project documentation


• Prepares the Design Management Plan


• Manage the flow of design information and the Document Control


• Coordinate the input from the Technical Department


• Manage the preconstruction & construction Design


• Prepares design programme in line with procurement strategies


• Organise, participate and record Design Review Meetings


• Coordinate the Planning Submission


• Coordinate early Building Control input into design principles
