Design Manager

A great opportunity to join a global Design Engineering consultancy immersed in the UK Water sector for over 100 years.� Our client is recruiting for an experienced Design Manager / Design Lead to provide technical input to their affiliated delivery contractor and the project team working on behalf of South West Water. As Design Manager you will play a vital role in our clients quest for engineering excellence.

As Design Manager / Design Lead you will:

• Be vital in the delivery of multi-disciplinary designs for either water or/and non-infrastructure projects.


• Lead the design team to successfully deliver projects and create a positive environment, where staff are engaged and able to reach their potential.


• Have the technical ability to lead the development of affordable and low carbon solutions


• Manage the risks of design within the team's submission and ensure timely and impressive delivery of our newly won projects

Our client requires a Design Manager with:

• HND/Degree in an engineering related discipline


• Extensive experience working in a multi-disciplinary design environment


• Experience of working on major projects within the Water sector, involving both Civil and M&E aspects

Salary and benefits include:

• �60,000 - �80,000 per annum.


• Agile/Hybrid working
