Job Description Design Manager – Major Infrastructure Project (Renewable Energy)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Manager to play a key role in the delivery of a landmark renewable energy infrastructure project. This project supports the UK's transition to Net Zero by integrating offshore wind energy into the national grid.
As Design Manager , you will oversee and coordinate the design activities across the project, ensuring cost-effective and compliant solutions while maintaining high-quality standards. The role offers flexibility, with the option to be based on-site in Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage permanent works design, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
Implement design management procedures aligned with ISO 9001 and project specifications.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and facilitate technical reviews.
Track and control design changes using structured design management tools.
Oversee compliance with CDM regulations and safety management functions.
Monitor subcontracted designers' performance, cost, and schedule adherence.
