Are you a passionate social worker with a commitment to child protection?

We're seeking a dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead to join a growing children's residential care team. In this pivotal role, you'll be the champion for child safety across various Yorkshire homes, making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

What will you do?

• Be the Safeguarding Champion: Lead the development and implementation of robust safeguarding strategies, ensuring all children feel safe and supported.
• Expert Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to staff on safeguarding procedures and best practices.
• Lead by Example: Investigate concerns, manage safeguarding reports, and liaise with social care to ensure children receive the help they need.
• Empower Your Team: Lead strategy discussions, training sessions, and assessments to equip staff with the knowledge and skills to keep children safe.
• Collaboration is Key: Work closely with Home and Operations Managers to ensure seamless safeguarding practices across all our Yorkshire homes.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified social worker (desirable) with a Level 5 leadership and management qualification.
• Has extensive experience in a safeguarding role within a children's care setting.
• Possesses excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Holds a valid driving license for travel across Yorkshire.
