Designer - Roofing and Cladding

Designer required to join a well-established construction specialist based in Maidstone. This company work on exciting roofing and cladding projects within the industrial, retail and commercial sector throughout the South-East.
Designer Position Overview
Create detailed 2D and 3D models of roofing systems, including components, structures, and materials, using industry-standard software.
Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop innovative roofing concepts that meet client needs and project specifications.
Generate accurate technical drawings and specifications to guide construction teams during project execution.
Work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is realized throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in roofing design to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Participate in client meetings and site visits to understand their vision and provide design insights and recommendations.
Designer Position Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work, ideally within the roofing or construction industry.
Proficient in 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, 3ds Max) and rendering tools (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape).
