Desktop IT Support EngineerLondon - Full time on-site6 months initial contract£27/hourWe are working with a global bank to hire a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team based in London, providing comprehensive IT support for their desktop and desk-side environments in non-trading floors. This role involves supporting MS Windows, Citrix Receiver, MS Office, and various business applications, as well as handling hardware such as laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.Main Duties:Deliver 2nd line IT support to colleagues across the EMEA regionManage the IT support contact number, respond to calls, create tickets, and escalate issues as neededAdminister IT environments, including PC build and configuration, application software, SCCM, and printingLiaise with and monitor escalations to 3rd level support groupsPerform daily checks on office printers and conference rooms, logging tickets and escalating issues to 3rd level supportParticipate in IT projects as neededQualifications:Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Citrix Receiver, MS Office, and business applicationsProficient in administering and configuring PC builds, application software, and SCCMExperience with video conferencing systems and office printer environmentsAbility to manage and document incidents and service requests effectivelyIf you are a proactive IT professional with a passion for delivering high-quality support and looking to join a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you!
