Senior Desktop Support Engineer £50,000 - £60,000 - London, Onsite.

An experienced Desktop Support engineer is required for a major, fast - growing London Market Insurer, based in the City of London. The company are in hyper growth and the need for motivated support engineers is critical to the delivery of strategic plans as well as BAU support. You will be joining a high performing team, responsible for the deployment and support of systems, ensuring seamless operations across the business.

This position will involve some VIP support requests, directly to the CEO, therefore your ability to communicate across all levels including senior management is vital.

Your profile should show strong experience delivering Desktop support within the financial service/insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting all daily used communication tools such as Teams, WebEx, O365, AV and telephone
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across all levels of seniority. Including VIP support/White glove support to the CEO directly.
  • Regularly reporting back to the IT team with any updates/feedback, ensuring effective handover of incidents
  • General IT administration activities including joiners, movers, and leavers processes.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous service desk support within Financial Service/Insurance Industry.
  • Previous VIP/Executive support experience, ideally up to C-suite.
  • Strong knowledge of O365, Windows 10, MS Office, Active Directory and Exchange Online.
  • TeamViewer and MimeCast experience
  • Microsoft Azure
