Developer

Developer - Hybrid role (2 days a week on site) - Manchester

We are seeking a Developer with a strong experience using Python. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-stack development, with exposure to technologies and Azure.

As a Developer, you will be a key part of our development team, working in a collaborative environment where you will have exposure to a variety of technologies, including Python, cloud platforms (especially Azure), and some elements of data engineering and AI. You'll work with a blend of front-end and back-end technologies, and be an integral part of projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate should have experience transitioning to a DevOps culture and implementing continuous integration and delivery practices. They should possess a proven ability to drive automation for improved velocity, quality and scalability.
Additionally, the candidate should have experience with integration pipelines and data roles, though not as a full data engineer, and be familiar with working in Azure, handling both front-end and back-end tasks.
An understanding of the full life-cycle of project development and release processes is essential, as is the ability to work in a smaller company environment without dedicated DevOps/DBA teams. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Python and demonstrated skill in working with cloud technologies and the latest advancements in Azure.
